The Lord's Warehouse

The Lord’s Warehouse Thrift Shop has a very unique offering of clothing, jewelry, antiques, furniture, books, and housewares galore. The inventory changes frequently and includes many name brands and designer clothes and shoes, such as Prada, Ralph Lauren, Foot Joy, Armani, and D&G to name a few. In addition, the thrift shop has original paintings and prints, vintage jewelry as well as high-end home furnishings and accessories on a frequent basis. Come often as it is always fun to rummage through the endless array of gently used bargains to find those special treasures that will make your shopping experience at the Chapel’s thrift shop complete.
Shifting Sands
THURSDAYS @ 10 AM
You don’t need to go through life’s many changes alone. Our support group can help you walk through life’s ever-shifting sands including the following:
- Loss of a loved one
- Separation or divorce
- New relocation
- Need of friendship
- Feelings of depression
- Challenges at home or with loved ones

Longboat Island Chapel
Capital Campaign
We are excited to announce the launch of our “Share the Light” Capital Campaign to raise funds for expanding and upgrading our facilities. By donating to our campaign during 2024, you will be investing in our future and helping all of us achieve our long-term goals.
The tree at the front of the sanctuary will “light up” with one white light for every $1,000 received.
Individual Donations Totaling:
- $10,000; a green light is lit
- $25,000; a blue light is lit
- $50,000; a red light is lit
Bright yellow envelopes in your pew backs are designated for our “Share the Light” donations and may be used for your contributions.
Place in the offering bowls during Worship service or drop off at the Welcome desk.
Prayer in the Sanctuary

If you are available to pray this coming Thursday morning, join us in the Sanctuary for a time of prayer for our time, our planet, for all nations, and for the prayers that God has put on our hearts.
Bloodmobile at the Chapel!

The Longboat Island Chapel will host a Blood Drive on Saturday, May 18th from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Donors receive a coupon for 10% off their purchase at the Lord's Warehouse. Each donor is also entered into a drawing

Donation: May's focus is on the Riverview High School Cyesis Program. They provide a daycare service for students who will soon be parents and are in need of this service to help them graduate high school and provide for their new families. Feel free to drop off items in Shook Fellowship Hall by the community chest.
